Built for every practice type
What holds a tax practice's website back
Five problems we see in almost every tax and resolution practice's website, and what each one quietly costs.
One page tries to cover every return type.
A page titled "Tax Services" that mentions individual returns, business returns and resolution work in one paragraph ranks for none of them well, and a visitor cannot tell in five seconds whether the firm handles their situation.
The site hesitates on a phone.
Most searches for a nearby preparer happen on a phone, often the night before a deadline. A page that takes its time sends the visitor back to the results, and the next firm gets the call.
Hours and staff go stale mid-season.
Extended hours during the busiest weeks, a new preparer starting, an office that opens seasonally: none of it makes it onto the site until someone finds the login, so the site quietly tells clients the wrong thing.
Every inquiry lands in one inbox.
During the first two weeks of a season the front desk cannot keep up, so calls go to voicemail and web forms sit unread for a day, right when a caller is deciding between three firms in one sitting.
There is no document checklist anywhere.
A client who does not know what to bring either calls to ask or arrives without it, and both outcomes cost the office time it does not have during the busiest weeks of the year.
What we build instead
The same five problems, answered one at a time.
- 01One page for every return typeA dedicated page for individual, business, self-employed and resolution work, each targeting its own searches and its own visitor.
- 02A phone that hesitatesEvery page hand-coded and served from the edge, tested to a 90+ PageSpeed score and kept there.
- 03Stale hours and staffWeekly detail updates publish hours, staff and fee changes within the week, at no extra cost and without touching a revision.
- 04One inbox for every inquiryA structured intake form routes straight into your CRM, and the AI Engine catches the calls a busy front desk cannot.
- 05No document checklistA configurable checklist tool presents your own list back to the client by return type, before the appointment even starts.
What changes for the practice
Outcomes clients describe once the site and the season readiness board are live.
Fewer calls go unanswered
A structured intake form and, on higher plans, an AI receptionist catch the inquiry a busy front desk cannot get to during the first two weeks of a season.
Found for the right search
A page per return type ranks for the specific thing someone is searching, not a generic services paragraph.
Always current
Hours, staff and fees update weekly, never held up behind a design change.
Every office found locally
Each address ranks on its own, instead of competing with its sister offices for one search result.
Visible outside the season
Researched articles keep the practice findable in the months most tax offices go quiet online.
The signature board
Ready before the season opens, not during it
This board is about your website, in our own scheduling terms: what belongs on the site before the phones start ringing, and what can wait until the busiest weeks have passed.
Before the season opens
Every return-type page published, reviewed and linked from the homepage.
The document checklist live for each return type your firm handles.
Office hours, staff and fee schedule current for opening day at every location.
The intake or booking form tested end to end and routed to the right inbox.
The AI Engine, if your plan includes it, trained on this year's hours and scripts.
Can wait until it is quiet
New team photography or a brand refresh.
A backlog of articles beyond the weekly minimum already publishing.
A page for a location opening next year rather than this one.
A second language rollout, planned but not yet written.
A full redesign exploration, once this season has run its course.
This board describes website scheduling only. It is not a filing deadline, a tax rule or advice about your own return.
Before and after the rebuild
The same six things, as they usually stand today and as they stand once the site is live.
- Return-type pagesBefore:One "Tax Services" page mentions every return type in one paragraph. After:A dedicated page for individual, business, self-employed and resolution work.
- Document intakeBefore:Clients call to ask what to bring, or arrive without it.After:A checklist tool presents your own list by return type before the appointment.
- Office hoursBefore:Extended hours during the busiest weeks never make it onto the site. After:Hours publish as a weekly detail update, current within the week.
- Multiple officesBefore:One shared "Locations" page competes with itself in search. After:Each address has its own page, map and local search visibility.
- After-hours inquiriesBefore:A call after 6pm goes to voicemail until the next morning. After:The AI Engine takes the details and books the appointment overnight.
- Off-season visibilityBefore:The site goes quiet the moment the season ends. After:Researched articles keep publishing, so search visibility keeps building.
Everything on the invoice
What the monthly fee covers on every plan, so there is nothing to add later.
The site
A page per return type, a page per office, a document checklist and a blog. Designed and hand-built by the studio.
The intake form
Three or four questions, then the inquiry goes to your CRM with the return type and office already attached.
A free domain
Registered in the firm's name for as long as the plan is active, or we point the one you already own. Either way it stays yours.
Managed hosting
SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth on a global network. No hosting bill, no bandwidth overage, nothing itemized.
Your CRM, connected
Every inquiry written to the CRM you already use, by API, Zapier or Make.
Fully managed
Weekly detail updates, 5 revisions a month from your client portal, 2 researched articles a week, and a person to email.
Pages that open instantly
- Every page is hand-coded static output, served from a global edge network, close to wherever a client is searching from.
- Almost no JavaScript ships to the browser. The mobile menu and the intake form are the only interactive parts, and they are small.
- 90+ on Google PageSpeed Insights for mobile and desktop on every page we build and host, guaranteed and kept there.
- No layout shift as fonts and office photos load, so a visitor can tap the phone number the moment the page appears.
Built to rank for each return type, in each place
- A page per return type answers the specific search people make, instead of one services page that ranks for nothing.
- A page per office with LocalBusiness schema attaches each address to its own map listing.
- 2 researched articles a week build the depth that keeps a firm visible for the questions people ask before they book.
- Local searches in your area start ranking within 3 to 5 months of launch, or the search work continues at no extra charge until they do.
How it works
Four steps from your first invoice to a live site, and the build fee is the last of them.
- 1
Pay the first monthly invoice
That is the only payment before launch. It starts the build and covers your first month once the site is live.
- 2
Onboarding form, then a call
You fill in the onboarding form: return types, offices, document checklists and where inquiries should land. Anything missing can follow by email or a portal ticket. Then one call to confirm it.
- 3
The studio builds
Return-type pages, office pages, the intake form and the CRM connection. You review a staging link and send changes through your portal.
- 4
Live, then the build fee
The site goes live on your domain. Only after you have approved it do we invoice the $797 build fee. Weekly updates start the same week.
Three plans, one fully managed website
Same structure, same management on every plan. The plans differ in what answers the phone and how much gets published.
- The Front DeskThe website, fully managed$137/ month
- The Busy SeasonEverything, plus the AI Engine$297/ month + usage
- The Year-Round PracticeEverything, plus the Content Engine$747/ month
Plus $797 one-time build fee on every plan, invoiced only after launch.

Book a demoWhat clients tell us
Illustrative examples of the outcomes clients report. Verified reviews are added after launch.
During the first week of February our phone would not stop ringing, and this time the booking form on the new site caught the overflow instead of sending it to voicemail.
Owner, single-location tax practice
Moved from a page-builder site built in a previous season
Clients kept telling us the document checklist page made their appointment faster, because they finally knew what to bring before they walked in.
Preparer, small business tax and bookkeeping firm
Launched ahead of filing season
The office pages finally show the right hours for the right address. We used to get calls asking whether we had even opened yet.
Office manager, multi-location tax franchise
Three seasonal offices, one shared brand
The bilingual pages mean a client can read about the appointment in the language they are most comfortable in, not just get a translated homepage and nothing else.
Managing preparer, bilingual tax practice
Serves a majority Spanish-speaking client base
Questions before you book
What does TaxFirmWebStudio actually build for a tax practice?
A custom-coded website with a page for every return type you prepare, a page for every office, a document intake form that routes into your CRM, and a season readiness checklist your firm controls. It is fully managed after launch: weekly detail updates, researched articles, and hosting are all included in the monthly fee.
Do you prepare tax returns or give tax advice?
No. TaxFirmWebStudio is a website design and management company. We are not a tax preparation, tax resolution or accounting firm, we hold no preparer credentials, and nothing we publish is advice for a specific filer's situation. Your preparers handle every tax decision; we handle the website that brings clients to your door.
What counts as a revision, and what happens after five?
A revision is any change request you send, and there is no limit on how much goes into one. New page, new return type, updated fees, a different photo, a colour change: each is one revision. So is something much larger. "Build two new office pages, here is the copy and the photos for both" is one revision, not four. 5 are included every month. After the fifth, each additional revision is a flat $20, with no cap on how many you can buy and no hourly billing anywhere. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days of you sending it, whatever the size.
What does the AI Engine actually do for a tax office?
On plans that include it, an AI receptionist, site chat, and text messaging agent describe your services, take contact and document details, and book an appointment into your calendar. Every call is summarized into a written note before you call back, so nothing is lost between a missed call and a returned one.
What do I actually pay, and when?
You pay the monthly fee for the tier you choose up front: $137, $297 plus AI usage, or $747 a month. The $797 one-time build fee is invoiced only after your site is live and you are satisfied with it. Domain and hosting are inside the monthly figure.
Can the site support multiple offices or a seasonal location?
Yes. Every plan includes a page per office with its own address, hours and map, and a seasonal office can open or close as a weekly detail update rather than a revision. A firm running three storefronts for four months a year is a normal build for us, not a special case.
